Thanksgiving

Year 8 did a special project day on Thanksgiving. It started off with a vocabulary introduction, where the students got to know the words that are important when talking about Thanksgiving. After that, they got the chance to experience Thanksgiving like a true American. Bob Gambil, an original US-American who now lives in Sottorf told the students about his childhood memories, his family traditions and the special Thanksgiving food. On top of that, the students got to cook three traditional American recipes: Mac’n Cheese, Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie. At the end of the day, we all sat together at the Thanksgiving dinner table and enjoyed the food. Thank you for a great day!
